Perhaps the most exciting event of the trip: hot air balloon across the valley. We woke up about five in the morning (the sun was barely up yet) and drove to the take off site.

I have always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon. Perhaps I was inspired by yanzi in her 'The Moment' mv. Still, it's something off my bucket list. Interestingly, it was peaceful and not scary at all. Rather, I was worried that the heat from the burner would set my hair on fire.

Something about our hotel: it doesn't seem much of a cave (disappointing) and there were lots of cats (urgh). Otherwise, the owner was really helpful. After a hasty breakfast, we were off to start the tour of the day. Earlier, we had viewed the rose valley from the air. Then, we were going through the valley on foot. It's about four kilometres.

The tour ended by evening and we went to explore our vicinity. Time to buy some souvenirs.

Of course, J wanted to climb somewhere and we ended up on some hill hoping to catch the sunset. A tour guide (he can speak Japanese!) even invited us up to a hotel's terrace to catch the view.

Much walking and we rewarded ourselves to Turkish pizza (very affordable and not oily at all) and Turkish bath (only 25 TKL). We were really grateful since the owners of the bathhouse allowed us to go after their closing time.

After the painful and ticklish experience at the Turkish bath, it's already midnight and we were off to bed in the 'cave' hotel.
