Oxford

Went to Oxford during the weekends. It was rather near, just an hour away from London. With friend Kuo Ren as our tour guide, we set out to explore Oxford.

The first thing that greeted us was this bull statue...

Not a very big town, Oxford is a great way to spend the weekend, away from noisy London.

Oxford castle
After Oxford castle, we went to where Kuo Ren is studying. Wow, the place is what I thought a college should look like, so peaceful and conducive for studying.

Beautiful college

Christ church

Christ church, another beautiful college, is where Harry Potter's dining room scene is filmed. Too bad that it requires a fee to enter. Maybe next time ...

Bodlein library
Bodlein library, a circular-shaped library, is where every books ever published in Oxford could be found. Another pity that non-Oxford students are not allowed...

Bridge of sigh

Museum

Einstein's blackboard

Market

The best milkshake in Oxford
The milkshape shop is really amazing: they have over 200 flavours for their milkshakes. Maybe I will become smarter after drinking.

Fish and chips!
What a wonderful trip and really must thank Kuo Ren for bringing us around.
