Reunion dinner

Chinese new year eve, a day usually spent with family with a steamboat dinner of abundant food.
Quite sad that I will be missing that for a few years to come... But that is not gonna stop us from having a reunion dinner ourselves in London.

Skyped with family in the afternoon, followed by a haircut then went to get ingredients for the steamboat.

It is not easy to get ingredients in London. It is either too expensive or they are quite limited in variety. However, this has not stopped us from buying over fifty pounds worth of food. Yeah!

The soup is extremely good. Took quite a while to boil but it was definitely worth it. There was a wide spread too (fish balls, chicken breast, mince pork ball, fish, prawn, sausages, golden pin mushroom). Love the company too as we eat and chat. Will love to do it again someday.
