Billingsgate market

Early birds

Crabs for CNY dinner

Humongous prawns

Great harvest

Another first in London: visiting the fish market! With just two hours of sleep (we were playing a defeating stretch of DOTA ...), JH and I took the early tube to Canary wharf at 5 plus in the morning. Wearing the usual winter attire, we were shocked by the chilling wind (It was very cold ...). Luckily, the market was 15 minutes of walk away... Stepping into the market, we met fellow shoppers with their trolleys. Clearly, with no bags or trolleys, we weren't equipped for our heavy duty shopping. No choice, we began our hunt for bargain deals. We bought crabs, fishes, prawns and king scallops. All for the coming CNY feast! With our great and heavy harvest, we were ready to face the cold again.
