My thoughts

• Ah, finally completed the trip to Russia despite the initial fear of bombings. It turns out that Russia was a very safe place

• What would have made the trip better was a prior knowledge of history of the place
  
• Good to know some Russian phrases
• Expenses were comparable to London
• A better time to visit would be in Summer where more attractions would be opened
