Another find by E to determine the best Japanese restaurant in London, we were accompanied by W to this ill-decorated small restaurant where booking was compulsory. As informed by web critics, looks were secondary.

Agedashi tofu!!!

Simmered pork belly

Sushi

Yakitori

Chicken balls

Maguro in some sauce (awesome as a snack)

Baked brinjal/aurbergine (Simple yet delicious)

Dorayaki

Green tea and sesame ice cream

Wafu steak

Tonkatsu (Super thick slices)

Ebi fry
Indeed, good food, food company. The presentation of the food may not be perfect but it's the best Japanese food I had in London so far (the sample size is pathetically small though...) The service was expectedly wonderful and our experience would have been enhanced if not for the occasional musky smell. Still, it's worth it.
