It was pouring cats and dogs but we manged to reach the restaurant D's sister recommended. After all, it was our farewell lunch and we deserved a good meal for a change. The decor of Addis Red Sea was very interesting, although the roofs were leaking rainwater. It was our first time having an Ethiopian cuisine and we decided to order a variety of dishes: chicken, beef, lamb and fish. The food was poured onto a large dish and served in a central area. The most unique thing would be the pancake-like bread which was used to eat with the meats.
It was definitely exotic but I'm not a person who's very receptive of foreign food. Overall though, the food was rather affordable.
