With only a few more days to go, we went to MIT, which was a few stops from Harvard. Of course, we took advantage of the free guided tour organised by MIT students.
MIT
Infinite walkway
I love the concept of an infinite walkway, which allowed the students to go to school from anywhere regardless of snow or rain. Of course that would mean that there's no excuse to be late for class...
Cool architecture
MIT hacks
Coming to MIT, one will always hear about their infamous hacks. For instance, MIT students will say that coming to MIT is like drinking knowledge from the fire hose: too much and too fast. Other hacks included the assembling of a police car or stealing artifacts from other Ivy league schools to place in the compound. It's really interesting that the students were never discovered.
MIT mascot, the beaver
Oh, their mascot was really cute. Being the geeky me, I like the idea of them choosing the beaver, nature's engineer, as their mascot.
