England friendly

Another first for me in London: watching a football match. Though not a fan of football, I wanted to experience watching a live match. Held at Wembley stadium, the match was between England and France.





Somehow watching a match on television is very different from a live match, especially when I have to brave the cold. Pity that they do not allow us to bring alcohol to our seats. Still, it's definitely an experience watching the avid fans chanting their heartfelt encouragements for the teams. I doubt I'll ever understand football but watching the ball scores or near-misses were really exciting. This done, perhaps tennis or rugby next.
