The Railway Children
Thanks to lobang king WH, we caught another free musical. Although more correctly as a play, The Railway Children adapted by the same title book from Edith Nesbit. This play chronicles the lives of three children and their interaction with the railway track. With the scene set at an old railway track, this play offered a different stage dimension and a really clever use of space. Though I feel that the stage can be a little long at times. Nonetheless, the casts were outstanding. What it lacked, it made it up with ingenuity and an engaging storyline. The 'real' train moving onto the stage really could not be missed.
