My second weekend trip since we came to Boston. This time, we were travelling to Washington D.C. The bus ride (with Megabus) was expected to be nine hours long and a great way to start the arduous journey was a great meal at Macs, especially after a night camping at someone else's place.
Big breakfast with hot cakes combo
Ordered the big breakfast with hot cakes combo since it's most cost-effective (oh no, i'm becoming more misery...). It proved too much for breakfast that I had to save the big breakfast portion for lunch on the bus. Save money!!!
Well, nothing much on the bus as usual, other than sleeping badly... After experiencing the hot summer since the start of the trip, it started to rain. Perhaps rain was an understatement since it was almost like the bus was drowned in water. Time to emo... By the time we reached our destination, it was evening time. First thing first, we had to get to our hostel.
Single fare ticket on the metro
Metro
Lots of signs
Within the metro
What do I have to say about their metro? Well, they are relatively clean although I suspect a dirty carpeted floor. Other than that, their train frequency could not be compared to Singapore's. Also, they have the same design for every station...
